Asherman's Syndrome

Survey Invitation

My name is Sarah Janz. I am a third-year resident in OB-GYN at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I would like to invite you to participate in a study that would update our knowledge of potential obstetrical complications in subsequent pregnancies after the treatment of Asherman's syndrome. There is minimal research performed addressing this issue. The most quoted study from 1974 was performed using a small patient population and different surgical techniques were used compared to those used today.

The study would entail a questionnaire regarding past pregnancies, individual treatment of the Asherman's and details regarding subsequent pregnancies and their complications, if present. The survey could be completed in five minutes.

All information provided would remain anonymous.

Participation is optional. Even if you join the study, you may stop at any time. There will be no compensation for your participation.

The goal of the project is to further the knowledge of Asherman’s Syndrome and potential pregnancy complications so that physicians and patients can better understand the implications of future pregnancies, anticipate issues and potentially improve pregnancy outcomes.

It is important to note that I have no conflicts of interest or additional support from the industry in researching this topic.

Thank you so much for your time.

Sincerely,

Sarah A. Janz
